Meet Your Physiotherapist

Hi, I’m Che Bonini, a physiotherapist with a passion for helping golfers recover from injury and return to the course stronger than ever. I bring a performance-focused approach to rehab by combining hands-on treatment with tailored strength programs designed specifically for the demands of golf.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked with both casual and committed golfers, helping them overcome pain, improve movement, and build the physical resilience needed to play at their best.

Whether you are managing a long-term niggle or aiming to increase your swing power, I am here to support your journey from injury through to peak performance.

My Process: How Physiotherapy Takes You from Pain to Performance

1. Understand

Every recovery story starts with a conversation. Che takes the time to get to know you, your history, lifestyle, and goals. This helps uncover the true cause of your pain or limitation, so treatment is personalised and effective.

2. Discover

Next, we perform targeted assessments using tools such as hand-held dynamometry. This allows us to measure, test, and identify exactly what’s happening in your body. No guesswork, just clear, reliable data to guide your treatment.

3. Educate

Knowledge builds confidence. Che explains your diagnosis in plain language, shares the latest research, and outlines your treatment options. You’ll always have a voice in your care, making informed decisions every step of the way.

4. Move

Hands-on therapy may be included if indicated, but the real results come from movement. Every patient receives a golf-specific gym or home exercise program to restore strength, improve performance, and reduce the risk of future injury.

5. Refine & Optimise

Recovery is a journey. Che conducts regular check-ins to refine your plan and optimise your program. This ensures your progress continues, your goals evolve, and your body moves efficiently, keeping you stronger, safer, and performing at your best.

6. Return

The final step is achieving your full potential. Che will give you the ‘green light’ to return to your pre-injury golfing schedule. You will enjoy playing at a higher level and with much more confidence in your body.
